MIX AND MATCH: PURPLE TONES

The simple addition of something purple can take a so-so outfit to new peaks of forward-thinking style.

I have seen a variety of purple fits and wanted to create one of my own. Whether it’s a purple wrap dress paired with a lavender jacket, a pair of purple trousers with a violet sweater over top, or a purple skirt matched with an oversized lilac sweatshirt or sweater (a personal favorite of mine), the color adds a noticeable flair and is definitely not for individuals who want to blend in.

The key to this outfit is—using different variations of one color in an ensemble. I personally this it’s very eye-catching and love the way it looks. It’s as if you’re painting a picture, and the clothes are your paint! I thought this outfit would be a fun way to end 2019 and start 2020. I am eager to get more and more out of my comfort zone and create looks that incorporate more color—could that possibly be a new years resolution for me?! I think yes.. Maybe green or yellow (two of my favorites)!
