HOW TO FREEZE (IN STYLE)

With the help of coats, classic blazers, cozy sweaters and winter-friendly footwear, there are many ways to wear a skirt in the winter without totally freezing.

Skirts are a seasonless staple—both maxi and mini and the outfit above is one way to prove it. Now, I can’t say I wasn’t completely freezing my butt off (I was) but I can’t complain because, D.C. has been blessing us with some warm days! I’ll take all the 50-60 degree weather I can get—before it gets super cold and snowy here—and decided to use this day as an opportunity to wear one of my favorite tweed pieces.

Here on the East coast, we have to be prepared for any weather that comes our way and having year-round pieces in your wardrobe is one way to combat the inconsistent climate. If you’re going to freeze, you might as well freeze in style!
